I'm Ayana owner of True Massage & Bodywork. I founded #SpaBizSuccess for one simple reason: I know what it feels like to be you.
When I started my spa biz, it was a side hustle to my 9-to-5 job. When that first spa biz flopped, I decided to take a break from it until I “figured things out”. At that time, I thought I could count on my 9-to-5 for financial security…
That was until the pandemic hit.
Like millions in 2020, I lost my job and eventually had no choice but to move back in with my mom. I had to work a myriad of unfulfilling desk jobs just to get by.
But the more these desk jobs drained my soul, the more I regained the confidence to give my spa biz another shot.
